Merino Wool Care
Wash
- Hand wash in cold water with a gentle wool detergent.
- If machine washing, use a mesh bag + wool/delicate cycle only.
Dry
- Lay flat on a clean towel, reshape, and let air-dry.
- Avoid wringing, hanging, or direct heat.
Maintain
- Fold instead of hanging to avoid stretching.
- Allow the garment to rest between wears (wool naturally releases odors).
- Use a fabric shaver occasionally to remove light pilling.
Cashmere Care
Wash
- Hand wash only, in cold water with cashmere/wool-safe detergent.
- Soak gently—no rubbing or twisting.
Dry
- Press water out by rolling in a towel, then lay flat to dry.
- Never put cashmere in the dryer or hang it by the shoulders.
Maintain
- Store folded in a breathable cotton bag.
- Use a cashmere comb or sweater stone to keep fibers smooth.
- Keep away from rough surfaces and jewelry to avoid snagging.
General Wool Care
Wash
- Spot clean when possible—wool doesn’t need frequent washing.
- Hand wash cold or use a wool/delicate cycle with appropriate detergent.
Dry
- Lay flat to air-dry.
- Avoid sunlight, heaters, and dryers, which can shrink or distort wool.
Maintain
- Brush lightly with a soft garment brush to lift fibers and remove surface dust.
- Steam instead of ironing to maintain texture and shape.
- Fold for long-term storage.
Cotton Care
Wash
- Machine wash cold or warm, depending on the garment’s dye and structure.
- Turn inside out to preserve color and print quality.
Dry
- Tumble dry low or hang dry if you want to prevent shrinkage.
- Remove promptly to avoid wrinkles.
Maintain
- Steam or iron on medium heat as needed.
